NiP eliminate Swole Patrol to reach EPICENTER quarter final

The Ninjas find themselves among the top eight teams in Moscow after beating Swole Patrol 16-6 on Overpass and 16-14 on Nuke.
The Swedes started out strong in the Group B elimination series by winning the first pistol round as Terrorists on their own pick, Overpass. The veteran Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg looked especially keen, as Ninjas in Pyjamas cruised ahead to reach a fast 6-1 lead. Swole Patrol then fired back with three rounds on the defensive before Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson's men took back the reigns and won the remaining five rounds to lead 11-4 at the switch.
Now on the attacking side, Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and co. came out on top in the second pistol round and also won the following anti-eco. Ninjas in Pyjamas then found their footing on the CT-side, regaining control and easily securing the last rounds of the map to win it 16-6.

Action then moved on to Swole Patrol's pick, Nuke, but it would be their Swedish adversaries who started out the strongest as they won the first five rounds on the CT-side. Braxton "swag" Pierce and co. then found themselves their first holes in the Scandinavian defences, as they won two in a row to get on the board.
The Americans looked composed on the attack, finding more and more ways into the bomb sites to eventually tie things up, but it would still be Ninjas in Pyjamas who came out slightly on top in the first half, 8-7.
The Swedes won the pistol round after the switch and also took the next anti-eco, but Swole Patrol would quickly respond by getting a trio of rounds to even out the score 10-10. Ninjas in Pyjamas got their wits together and reached match point, but ended up conceding four rounds to Swole Patrol before the Ninjas buckled up and closed out Nuke 16-14 and the series 2-0.
